About
The transition of funding within residential aged care from the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) to the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) system is the most significant reform that we have witnessed in residential aged care in over a decade.

Scott is an experienced Physiotherapist and Executive with over a decade of experience working across the aged care sector.
Scott is blessed to support and lead the Community Therapy team. Community Therapy is a mobile allied health team providing clinical services to older adults and people living with disabilities across the Central Coast and Hunter New England Health Districts. Community Therapy also provides consultancy and training to the aged care and disability sector.
Scott also serves as Vice Chair to the Australian Physiotherapy Association’s Gerontology Committee.

What is the AN-ACC?
AN-ACC is the Australian National Aged Care Classification system. It will replace the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) from October 1 2022.

Do you provide AN-ACC consultancy?
Yes, we provide consultancy services to residential aged care facilities regarding allied health services.
We are supporting organisations to transition from the ACFI to the AN-ACC, with particular focus on transitioning from allied health programs centered around pain management programs to ones focused on reablement and restorative care.
