  • Does this training include specific products and brands of cushions?

    While we do mention some specific products to support learning – we focus on general features, which can be found across many different brands. This allows clinicians to learn about the features their client requires, rather than just knowledge around popular brands on the market. This also supports rural clinicians who may not have access to specific brands – allowing them to discuss with suppliers what features they may need to address functional needs.

  • What is the CPD Reflection Tool?

    We have included a CPD Reflection tool with each course – to provide a platform to write your thoughts and learning from the session. It outlines questions related to your learning outcomes and how it can be applied to your current practice context. This can assist with integrating learning into your work context. As well as being used as evidence for your professional learning and registration requirements.   

    This is emailed to your nominated email address, as a PDF which can be printed or saved for future reference.

    Yes! This course is designed for both clinicians new to prescribing pressure cushions and experienced OTs who need a refresher on the topic! We cover the main reasons for prescribing pressure cushions, and what features to look out for, depending on what you are trying to address with your client!
