Community Therapy is an organisation developed under the mission of enhancing the quality of life of residents throughout the Hunter.

From our beginnings in Newcastle, we have expanded to service the greater Hunter region which includes Kurri Kurri.

Our staff comprise of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Dietitians and Massage Therapists who are committed to their clinical roles.

Whether it’s an injury, acquired physical condition or neurological condition, cardiac or respiratory condition, Community Therapy will endeavour to help you manage symptoms and restore function and independence.

Our Services

NDIS Participants

We are committed to restoring and preserving the quality of life of adult NDIS participants.

We tailor our Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology and Dietitian services to suit the individual and their goals.

Within the NDIS, we are able to optimise the environment of clients through home modifications, assistive technology and rehabilitation services.

We help participants submit funding requests and assessment forms to the NDIS.

We work in collaboration with Support Coordinators, Local Area Coordinators, Builders and Suppliers to provide efficient healthcare to the NDIS participant.

Residential Aged Care

We work with Residential Aged Care Providers to maintain a professionally based care environment for residents.

We are experienced with non-English speaking backgrounds and have high respect for cultural differences.

Our consistent Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology and Dietitian services are person-centred, delivering therapies that are both effective and enjoyable!

Our therapists have ongoing professional development to ensure consistent best practice.

Manual handling training can be provided to help facility staff.

Keeping clients comfortable is important to us. As such, we partner with approved Home Care Providers to help keep clients in their homes for as long, and as happy as possible!

Our staff are mobile and able to bring professional person-centred care to their door.

We maintain compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
