People We’ve Helped in Hamilton

We’ve recently had a wonderful experience helping a lovely 86-year-old woman in Hamilton.

She contacted our team because she was experiencing back pain and wanted to build her strength and mobility.

During our initial consultation at her home, our Physiotherapist discovered that the client has stopped going to morning coffees with her friends at the local cafe due to her pain.

It is always important to identify a meaningful goal for someone to aim for if possible. This is because people typically achieve better healthcare outcomes when aiming to achieve something important for them.

To decrease her back pain and improve her strength and mobility, we developed an exercise program with a focus on building strength, mobility and balance.

Over two months, our client was able to successfully achieve her goals of decreased pain and improved strength and mobility and returned to regular visits to the cafe with her friends!

And her favourite coffee? A cappuccino with 1 sugar!
